Banners for branding
We are going to go over using the banner feature. You can upload a banner and link it directly to a keyword. So lets say you have a cool banner that shows off your Ruger Red Label. Remember that when you use pictures you want to get the same point across as you do words. Your asking someone to click on that picture. What you want is for them to find on the other side what you said was there. Now there are Two different types of banner links there is a keyword banner where you banner will show in the top of the search results when that keyword is searched for. There is also what is called a banner pool and a catch all. The banner pool is like the banner on the Front of our website its 25 cents per click and the real point to it is to have hundreds of thousands of people see your name over and over again and instill some BRANDING.
Branding is important. Cabellas is a Branded name. You say Cabellas or Bass Pro and no one asks What's that? Branding means that when discussions are taking place about buying selling or trading goods. Your name comes up because someone saw an ad somewhere and just can't even remember where. So the banner you use should have your Store name and EASY to REMEMBER URL on it. So if you want to brand your business as a nationwide competitor this may be an option you need to look at.
